What the website processes

Contact enquiries

The contact page prepares an email locally in your own email application. The website does not upload or store the fields. If you send the email, Valogen receives the information you provide and your email metadata.

Hosting and security data

Amazon CloudFront delivers this website from a private Amazon S3 origin, and AWS WAF filters requests for security. To deliver and protect the site, Valogen and AWS may process request metadata including IP address, request time, URL path, browser user-agent, and security-rule outcomes. The dedicated WAF log archive redacts query strings and the Cookie and Authorization request headers.

No analytics or advertising

Valogen currently uses no marketing analytics, advertising pixels, behavioural profiles, social-media embeds, or newsletter tracking on this site.

Purposes and legal bases

Enquiries are handled to respond to your request, take steps before a possible contract, and pursue Valogen's legitimate interest in business communication. Hosting and security processing supports Valogen's legitimate interest in providing a secure, reliable website.

Recipients and transfers

Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides website hosting and security; the provider of the interim email address handles enquiries that you choose to send. Valogen may also share information with professional advisers or authorities where legally required. Static site files and the dedicated WAF log archive are stored in an AWS EU region. CloudFront uses a global edge network, so request metadata may be processed outside the European Economic Area. The AWS Service Terms incorporate a data-processing addendum and, where applicable, Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers to countries without an adequacy decision. You can request more information about these safeguards using the contact address above.

Retention

Business enquiries are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last substantive exchange, unless a longer period is needed for a contract, legal obligation, dispute, or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims. Valogen's dedicated AWS WAF request-log archive is configured to expire stored logs after 90 days. Records relevant to a security incident or legal claim may need to be preserved separately for as long as that purpose requires.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You may also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority. Contact Valogen first at admin@valogen.be, or visit dataprotectionauthority.be.

Changes

Valogen will update this notice when the site, providers, or data uses change. Material new uses will be assessed before deployment.
